Bio
Grammy losing international cult heroes The Virginia Gentlemen bring their multi genre onslaught a staggering 366 dates a year. Oddly enough they started out as a "jug band" but in due time naturally progressed into Rock. They honed their craft south of the Mason Dixon line for over a decade. Picking up influences from Blues, Country, Cajun and Bluegrass along the way. Now this ain't soul music, mind you, this is rock music. But it's got soul to it, if you can dig that.
See them live and get a glimpse into the small minds of the band. These characters form and unlikely band of '”brothers'” and parade around in nightmare western outfits. A true spectacle. They’re a quintet of wild animals who are inclined to melancholy and drink too much. Their gigs are guaranteed great fun; most of the band is often just as drunk as their audience.
A multinational band consisting at the moment of five players. This number changes city to city. Current international line up includes southern Indiana’s own prodigal son, Hank, “Jet” Black (guitars and such), raised by Gypsy’s near the Nogales, Arizona, Tito White (battle axe), world-renowned chocolatier, hailing from Rose City, Belgium, Vic Toblerone (low end), from parts unknown, “Irish” Mike Ramirez (drums), and all the way from Düsseldorf Germany Colonel Clete Peters (Ret)(Vocals) A good-humored man who talks dirty and knows how to take his audience.
